All of the recipes on these pages are gleaned from the SCD Listserve and are supposed to be "SCD safe". This means that they do not contain lactose, grain flour, or any other food item which is not allowed in the Specific Carbohydrate Diet.

If there is any contradiction between instructions in Breaking the Vicious Cycle and any recipe in these archives, kindly adhere to what the book states.

Introduction

The recipes have been placed on different pages according to their subject. You'll always find links to the main recipes areas on the left side of the page. We have made a page with links to all the recipes here; it is a long list, so be patient (89 K). Keep in mind that some recipes are not intended during the introductory phase of the SCD or during flare-ups.

Many of the recipes that appear on scdiet.org also appear on Raman Prasad's wonderful scdrecipe.com, but there may be others there as well.

Also, we have a page with links to even more recipe websites and a page with a downloadable abbreviated "SCD Quick Reference" list of allowed foods! Lastly, we have links to online resources for many of the ingredients in these recipes: check out the SCD "General Store"!
