Links: Make it easier to find other resources online (book stores, other web sites, etc.)

Navigation: As it is now, it is too difficult to find what I am looking for.

6

Layout and Design: As it is now, it is too primitive and messy.

C) Text Responses

1. Establish a chat room where folks actually communicate. Although I've never been in a chat room, I found it annoying that when I tried to get in the prior SCD chat room, no one was there.

2. email list . . . . is it possible to have an on line chat/email list rather than getting emails in our own mail box? In other words, can't we just go to the site & view the messages in a forum?????

3. A good site search facility

4. Receipes

other peoples diets and experiences

what has worked and not worked

5. I just thank you for providing this site!

6. I haven't found too much trouble navigating the site, but I do find that I have to scroll through a lot of recipes to get to the one that I want. Perhaps this could be improved.

7. The web search engines did not locate this site when I type specific carbohydrate diet or Breaking the vicious cycle etc. It was more by accident then anything that I found it. It would be great if more people were able to find it with any of the generic queries. I'm not sure how this could be accomplished?

8. none

9. like what ive seen so far

10. having problems : i can enter web pagebut several of the leads come up with blank screen.

11. Used to present design but choices could

be further categorized--less information

on the main page.

12. Make it easier to find the current letters. Also, some websites have counters that show how many hits they have. Many of these sites appear to be non-profit. Have you looked into this? There is leverage in numbers. Following on this idea see below.

5. Do you have any specific advice or suggestions to how to improve the site?

1. make it easier to find stuff, make it look nicer.

2. Yes, see #4 comment.

3. Nope, but thanks for doing this!

4. a list of drs. and their address/phone numbers that people on the list currently visit and have found to be scd-supportive or tolerant.

i request this since several doctors have been mentioned/recommended by list members over time ---- and the creation of a list of these doctors - may be helpful to members who are moving to new homes/visiting new places and need to see a dr.

thanks for putt

5. see above

6. add information on other problems which sometimes have to be addressed in addition to being on the SCD in order to have a complete remission or cure (such as parasites, candida, vitamin deficiencies)

7. not at this time

8. A good site search facility

International information where available, e.g. where to find SCD-safe products in other countries

9. I think there should be scheduled chat times. That way we can talk with people real time, once a week or so.

10. How about an area dedicated to the additional SCD legal foods that Elaine G. has approved but are not found in her book? I know it would be small, but, each item can add a world of diversity. Also, maybe a site with statistics?

11. NO

12. NO

13. An internal search engine for the recipes.

14. cant think of any right now

15. I found the site very helpful as is. I was able to learn a lot of things about the cooking and supplies.

16. My biggest concern is that people write their own ideas about do's and don'ts which are not always correct. Some of the recipes have non allowable foods.

17. No.

18. no

19. better "search" engine. easier to get info all info listed about a particular food, topic, etc.

20. not at this time

21. I would like to obtain new recipes on SCD all I get is blank page. I have used the recipes in the book. i have tried some of yourother topics & got blank pages. Can you help?? thank you.

22. I've enjoyed it, but you could remove info on old conflicts concerning scd lists.

23. Break down the menu structure

24. >> Have contact information for people

interested in talking to SCD adherents in

their local area. Perhaps the nucleus

of informal meeting/support/social groups.

25. The homepage should be more streamlined, with simple, clear access points. Site search engine a must keep. Positive, upligting letters amust, but the volume of letters is too tedious. The core content should be distilled and represented statistically or as excerpts.

27. not sure

28. NO

29. I would like to see Dr's, products, sources, stores, restaurants, caterers, and testimonial letters from food producers, etc. that are compatible with the diet. If they are easily accessible from the scd start page it would make it easier to get started on the diet and stick to it. I took me hours to find the information on yogurt makers and where to buy them.
